I had the pleasure of meeting Debora at the Reliant Dog Show in 2004. She was ringside watching mastiffs and we started talking. We exchanged information, and soon she called inquiring about my upcoming litters. Well, long story short, Debora and her husband ended up getting a puppy from our next litter, Prissy/Brew. This litter was exceptional in every way. With lots of persuasion I was able to convince them to entrust me to co-own and show this future star. The world of conformation was a new experience for them. They have been very involved in running their 2 labs in hunt tests and field trials. Angus actually retrieves like the labs. Ducks and all! What an experience it has been for them this new world of dog shows. The first show Angus went to was the grand daddy of them all in Texas, the Reliant Series of Dog Shows. Angus won his class, 6-9 month puppy dog and went on to win Winner’s Dog for a 4 point major. It has been such a blast to show Angus and watch him mature. I couldn’t ask for better people to love my puppy. Debora and Dennis have done a great job w/Angus and I am so fortunate to have them in my life.
